Emily L. Jeffries
Hi there!
Emily Jeffries is a New York City–based professional dancer originally from Cambridge, Ohio. She received her pre-professional training at BalletMet and Miss Jennifer's Dance Studio before earning her B.F.A. in Jazz Dance from Point Park University, where she also minored in business management. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Dance Education at Point Park University.
In addition to her dance career, Emily holds seven fitness certifications, including Group Fitness, Personal Training, Yoga, Pilates, MX4 HIIT, Beachbody's Core De Force, and Pop Pilates.
Emily has built a diverse career as a performer, choreographer, and educator. She has performed works by acclaimed choreographers including Susan Stroman, Taylor Gordon, Katie Walker-Henein, Eileen Grace, Al Blackstone, and Lainie Sakakura through The Verdon Fosse Legacy.
Most recently, Emily appeared in "Dancing Queen" at the Avalon Ballroom Theatre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and "Broadway Christmas Wonderland" at the Orb Theatre in Tokyo, Japan, both with Dublin Worldwide Productions. She has also performed in Times Square as a featured dancer for New Year's Eve celebrations with Pzazz Productions from 2024–2026.
Additional performance credits include swinging for the Lucille Lortel Awards in a presentation of "Contact" choreographed by Susan Stroman and restaged by Tomé Cousin, performing in "Christmas on Ice" at both the Avalon Ballroom Theatre and the Eldorado Showroom in Reno, Nevada, and serving as Dance Captain for "Cinderella" at the Pittsburgh Playhouse.
As an award-winning choreographer, Emily has created work for dance studios, competitive teams, and collegiate programs throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. Recent choreographic highlights include "The Cat" and "Walking on Air" for Point Park University, as well as "Praying", which won the talent competition at the Miss Ohio Pageant.
Outside of performing and teaching, Emily enjoys adjudicating dance competitions and regularly serves as a judge for Nexstar, Turn It Up, and Impact Dance Adjudicators with Courtney Ortiz.
