Emily L. Jeffries

       Emily Jeffries, from Cambridge, Ohio, is a New York City based professional dancer. She received pre-professional training from BalletMet and Miss Jennifer's Dance Studio. Her training offered her the opportunity to attend Point Park University as a dance major with a concentration in jazz and business management minor. Emily has also obtained seven different fitness certifications; including group fitness, personal training, yoga, pilates, MX4 HIIT, BeachBody's "Core De Force", & Pop Pilates. ​

Through her dance training and experience, Emily found a love for performing, choreographing, and teaching. She has had the opportunity to perform for choreographers such as Susan Stroman, Taylor Gordon, Katie Walker-Henein, Eileen Grace, Al Blackstone, and Lainie Sakakura with The Verdon Fosse Legacy. Most recently, Emily performed at the Eldorado Showroom as a dancer in "Christmas on Ice" with Dublin Worldwide Productions. She was also seen performing in Times Square for New Year's Eve as a dancer with Pzazz Productions for both 2024 and 2025. Other performance highlights include swinging for the Lucille Lortel Awards in New York City for a section of "Contact" choreographed by Susan Stroman and set by Tomè Cousin, dancing at the Avalon Ballroom Theatre in Niagara Falls in "Christmas on Ice", and performing in "Cinderella"at the Pittsburgh Playhouse as dance captain. Emily is an award-winning choreographer for dance studios and teams in the Pittsburgh and Ohio area. Some of her most recent choreography highlights are "The Cat" and "Walking on Air" both for Point Park University, and "Praying", which won the talent portion of the Miss Ohio Pageant.

On the weekends, Emily loves to judge dance competitions for Nexstar, Turn It Up, and ID Dance Competition. She is a certified dance adjudicator through ID Dance Competition.
